The tour is made up of two parts:

The Coalisland Experience

This permanent exhibition tells the story of the industrial heritage of Coalisland and the local area. Visitors will discover the history of the local coal mines, factories, canals, spade mills and brickworks. The exhibition was first opened back in 1993 by Mary Robinson, President of Ireland in Coalisland Cornmill.  It has since moved to its present location and is currently managed by Coalisland & District Development Association.

Coalisland Weaving Factory

The Coalisland Weaving Company closed in 1978, having operated for over 100 years. The museum includes many of the original machines, including the impressive engine room (Shown above) and tells the story of many of the workers and changes through the years.
